This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of APP’s involved in the care of patients with rheumatic disease.
RhAPP’s mission is to deliver comprehensive educational updates via a platform designed to allow for a rich interaction and exchange of ideas between APPs on the most clinically relevant topics in the treatment of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. In addition, RhAPP will provide programming and opportunities designed to support peer-to-peer networking, career development and advancement for existing APPs and clinical placement for APPs joining the rheumatology workforce.
After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:
Describe the latest clinical guidelines and treatment recommendations for the management of rheumatic disease
Individualized treatment and dosing for patients with rheumatic disease by assessing the latest evidence-based benefits of the available treatments
Assess the risk factors associated with each treatment recommendation and carefully monitor patients for adverse events
Evaluate new treatment options for rheumatic disease and therapeutics development
Assess the risk-benefit for patients receiving new therapeutics for rheumatic disease
