RhAPP Webinar Series:
Advances in the Management of Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA)
AAPA, ACPE and ANCC Continuing Education Credit Available
RhAPP is pleased to host a series of ten (10) virtual webinars on the subject of Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA). Each virtual event will feature a prominent faculty presenter within this disease state and are designed to reach community NPs, PAs, and PharmDs interested in learning more about the advances in the management of this disease.
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs; nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants) involved in the care of patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), a potentially disabling inflammatory arthritis of the spine encompassing ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and nonradiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA).
Program Overview
This meeting series aims to educate APPs (nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants) on how to identify, diagnose, and treat patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), a potentially disabling inflammatory arthritis of the spine encompassing ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and nonradiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA).
Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Identify the widening criteria and evolving definition of axial spondyloarthritis and recognize that ankylosing spondylitis is a subset of this disease group

Facilitate an early and accurate diagnosis of AS and nr-axSpA through improved awareness of differential diagnostic best practices

Comprehend established, new and potential future therapies for AS and nr-axSpA

Integrate recently updated evidence-based guidance for the treatment of AS and
nr-axSpA

Interpret results from recent clinical trials of new and investigational agents for the treatment of AS and nr-axSpA

Accreditation Statement

Assistants should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
