RhAPP Fifth Annual National Conference | Accreditation

Program Overview:

The educational program will feature sessions on the latest scientific and clinical developments and will include small group learning opportunities to facilitate interaction between attendees and RhAPP’s expert faculty on the most clinically relevant topics.

Target Audience:

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of advanced practice providers involved in the care of patients with rheumatic disease.​​

Educational Objectives:

After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Describe the pathophysiology underlying common rheumatic diseases

  • Identify common signs and symptoms associated with major rheumatologic disorders

  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately diagnose rheumatic diseases based on history, physical examination, laboratory evaluation, and imaging

  • Describe the pharmacological properties, indications, and contraindications of various therapeutic agents utilized to treat rheumatic disease

  • Design patient-specific management plans for various rheumatologic disorders in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers. Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Pharmacist Credit:

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.25 contact hours (1.325 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy credit. Credit will be provided to the NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity is completed.

 

This activity is certified as a knowledge-based CPE.

Physician Associate Credit:

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower has been authorized by the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 13.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Nurse Credit:

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.25 ANCC contact hours, which includes pharmacology hours.
